1. NJTL - National Junior Tennis Learning Program

MVSRC Entry Level tennis program held after school for elementary and middle school age students throughout the school year at MLK Park (aka Mountain View Sports & Racquet Club). The players will learn fundamentals of tennis such as how to hit a forehand, a backhand and serve.  Once players advance they will be referred to the Jr ACES Intermediate Program

The student cost for the program is only $120 per 4 weeks (a saving of $40) or $20 per session.   Scholarships are available to students on the "free or reduced lunch" program at school - This ensures that all students from all backgrounds will be given the opportunity to play.

No equipment required. We provide racquets and balls to all students for use during the clinic. The clinic is designed to teach basic techniques of tennis.

We are proud of our After School Tennis Program and the difference it makes in the lives of children.

Beginner: Has no or limited tennis experience and is still working primarily on getting the ball in play.

Advance: Fairly consistent when hitting medium paced shots, but is not comfortable with  all strokes and lacks execution when trying for directional control, depth and power.  Needs work on depth and variety of shots.
